The 94th Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs March 2–22, 2026, at NRG Stadium, bringing 21 nights of world-class entertainment to the Bayou City. This year’s lineup features nine debut performers, hometown heroes, country legends, and one of the most anticipated closing concerts in RODEOHOUSTON history. From Lizzo’s long-awaited return to Houston to Cody Johnson’s concert-only finale with Jon Pardi and Randy Houser, the 2026 schedule delivers something for every music fan.
“We strive to bring Houston the very best in live entertainment, and the 2026 lineup raises that standard once again,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “From chart-topping newcomers to artists making their long-awaited return after nearly 20 years, this year’s lineup is truly a reflection of both our Western roots and the vibrant footprint of the Houston community.”
The complete 2026 Houston Rodeo concert schedule spans country superstars, Latin hitmakers, rock legends, R&B icons, and rising stars. Here’s who’s taking the famous rotating star stage:
Lizzo on Black Heritage Day (March 6) is one of the most anticipated performances of 2026. The Houston native—who attended Alief Elsik High School and the University of Houston—was originally scheduled to perform in 2020, but the rodeo was cancelled due to COVID-19 after her show sold out in 10 minutes. After years of scheduling difficulties, Houston’s Grammy-winning hometown star finally takes the rotating stage.
Cody Johnson’s concert-only finale (March 22) marks only the fourth time in RODEOHOUSTON history that the final night features a full-length concert without rodeo competition. The Texas native—known for the unofficial rodeo anthem “Welcome to the Show”—will be joined by special guests Jon Pardi and Randy Houser for what promises to be an epic three-act country celebration.
Chris Stapleton (March 12) returns to the star stage for another soul-stirring performance. The 11-time Grammy winner consistently delivers one of the most powerful shows of any RODEOHOUSTON season, with his raw vocals and exceptional band commanding NRG Stadium like few others can.
The 2026 lineup introduces nine performers who have never graced the famous rotating star stage. These debut artists span genres and generations:

RODEOHOUSTON is an official PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) event, with earnings counting toward qualification for the National Finals Rodeo. The competition features the top professional cowboys in tie-down roping, bareback bronc riding, team roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, and bull riding.
